This 11 nights and 12 days Wildlife Tour takes travelers to an unforgettable and adventure-filled tour to India’s famous wildlife destinations in the state of Madhya Pradesh, combined with the capital city of Delhi and the city of Mumbai. This tour package has three of the most famous national parks with some of the best tiger sightings in the world with jungle safaris on a jeep. Enjoy safaris at Bandhavgarh National Park with the highest density of tiger population in India leading to very high chances of spotting the Bengal Tigers in the wild, Kanha National Park and Pench National Park; the latter two locations inspired the famous classic novel “The Jungle Book” of Mowgli fame by English author Rudyard Kipling.
Also part of this tour package is Agra that is home to the monument of love – Taj Mahal. Upon arrival at Mumbai International Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. A city formed by a conglomeration of seven islands and is located along the Arabian Sea. After breakfast, proceed with the Mumbai sightseeing tour with the first visit to the Elephanta Caves (a UNESCO World Heritage site) located on the Elephanta Island. Enjoy a ferry ride from the Gateway of India to the Elephanta Caves. These caves are originally a set of the rock-cut cave temples. An impressive 20 ft. high Trimurthi featuring the three aspects of Lord Shiva: Creator, Protector and Destroyer are the prime highlights of this cave temple. Take the ferry ride back to the Gateway of India. Spend time clicking photographs at the Gateway of India - one of the prime landmarks of Mumbai. It was built in the year 1924, in honor of King George V and Queen Mary's visit to India in 1911.
Next, visit the Prince of Wales Museum, also called Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, built during the early 20th century. This museum is a blend of Indo-Saracenic architecture with an impressive Mughal white dome atop the museum. It is said to have around 2,000 miniature paintings along with artifacts belonging to the Indus Valley civilization. Later, visit the Hanging Gardens established in 1880 at the Malabar Hills. A splendid view of the Arabian Sea adds to the beauty of this natural realm. A striking flower clock is the main attraction here. End your Mumbai sightseeing tour with an evening visit to the Marine Drive (Queen’s Necklace). A highly popular spot in Mumbai, the drive is stretched across the coast of the Arabian Sea. At night, it is lit with street lights that look like a dazzling necklace when viewed from a particular angle and this is why it is called Queen’s Necklace.

This morning after breakfast, drive to Mumbai airport for your flight to Nagpur. On arrival, our representative will greet you and transfer you to Pench National Park. The name of Pench National Park derives from the Pench River that meanders significantly through the park. The setting of the famous Mowgli’s adventures from Rudyard Kipling’s classic novel “Jungle Book” was based on this very place. This magnificent wild expanse shelters the majestic tigers and several other species of wild animals and avian population, including migratory birds. The Pench National Park was endowed with the status of a National Park in 1983, and in 1922 it was recognized as Pench Tiger Reserve. Rich in flora and fauna, the national park covers 758 sq. km of area. On arrival, check-in at the Wildlife Resort / Hotel.

This is also known as Kanha Tiger reserve and is the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh and declared one of the finest wildlife areas in the world. The park was created in 1955, and it is nestled in the Maikal range of the Satpura ranges that form the central Indian highlands, the park spreads over 940 sq. km in dramatic natural splendor. The beautiful national park is home to a wide array of wild creatures such as the rare and endangered Swamp Deer (Barasingha), Bengal Tigers, Indian leopards, the sloth bear, and Indian wild dog. After breakfast, we will drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. On arrival, we will check-in to the hotel. Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the tiger-rich regions in India, with India’s highest density of the Bengal Tigers. This park was initially the hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Rewa and today it is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Bandhavgarh was declared a national park in 1968 and covers an area of 105 sq. km. It has the distinction of sheltering the highest population of tigers per unit area of the forest. Besides the tiger, there is a large variety of wildlife in the park including leopards, various species of deer, Indian bison, sloth bear, porcupine, wild boar among others.

After breakfast, we will drive to Khajuraho. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Khajuraho was the capital of the Chandela kings and its temples were built in the short span of hundred years from 950-1050 AD. Most of them were destroyed by Muslim invaders. Adorned with exquisite sculpture, only 22 temples remain of the original 85. Khajuraho’s temples are covered with hundreds of sculptured figures - a galaxy of Gods and Goddesses, beasts and serpents and a multitude of erotic couples that represent a passion to live, to love and to joy.
After some relaxation, head for Khajuraho sightseeing that covers visits to the Khajuraho Group of Temples that speak volumes of the grandeur of Chandela Kings. These temples around 200 years back. These are a set of temples divided into eastern, western and southern wings The Eastern wing is majorly dominated with meticulously-designed Jain Temples. The Parsvanath Temple is the largest temple of this wing. The western wing features some of the finest temples including the Andariya Mahadev Temple, Devi Jagadambe Temple, Chausat Yogini and Chitragupt Temple, etc. while the Southern wing comprises of three temples: Duladeo Temple, Chaturbhuj Temple and Beejamandal Temple. All these temples display exquisite detailing, erotic carvings that are hard to find anywhere else in India.

After breakfast, we will drive to Orchha. It is a city dotted with artistically-beautiful palaces and temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries that still retain much of its pristine perfection. After some relaxation, go for sightseeing at Orchha Fort Complex. Visit the Jehangir Mahal built in the 17th century by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo to commemorate the visit of Emperor Jehangir to Orchha. Its strong lines are counter balanced by delicate chhatris and trellis work. Explore the Raj Mahal crowned by chhatris and exquisite interiors, boldly colourful murals based on religious themes. Visit the Ram Raja Temple, which is the most unusual as it is a palace turned temple where Rama is worshipped as a Raja (King). Head to the Laxminarayan Temple linked by a flagstone path to the Ram Raja Temple. Its interiors contain the most exquisite wall paintings in Orchha.
Post this, we will transfer you to the railway station in Jhansi for your evening train to Agra. On arrival in Agra, our representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel.

Early morning visit to the Taj Mahal - the most extravagant symbol of love, dedication and purity ever that took almost 22 years to build. It is an ivory-white marble monument where rests the mortals of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan (who built Taj Mahal) and his wife (Mumtaz). An interesting fact about this stunning edifice is that it turns pinkish in the morning, milky white in the evening and golden at night as the moonlight falls upon it. Watching the sunrise over this iconic monument is truly a sight to behold. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Next, visit the Agra Fort that resembles the magnificent Red Fort in Delhi. Post sightseeing, we will drive to Delhi. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. The rest of the evening will be at leisure.
